“United in support for Ukraine.”

Talk Europe! with Wojciech Przybylski

Ukraine is a pawn of a larger chess board set by the Russians, in which Moscow, Kremlin, is posing a strategic challenge to the European security system.

“Russia is testing the European security system and seeking to undermine it through the situation in Ukraine. Essentially, it seems that it wants to pick apart European allies and demonstrate that NATO cannot deliver security and that it can be internally divided.”

Wojciech Przybylski, Editor-in-Chief of Visegrad Insight believes that Europe can do a lot as an immediate response to the Russia-Ukraine conflict by staying invested in the neighborhood, Eastern partnerships and the Western Balkans. By being prepared for the worst possible scenario with Russian intervention, refugee and migration crises, coming in from Ukraine. And finally, by strategically investing in installing and preserving democracy and not allowing to be exploited and divided for economic means.
