Südwind
Südwind-Magazin. Internationale Politik, Kultur und Entwicklung – For over 40 years, Südwind magazine has focused on people and perspectives that are neglected by other media. Reports, analyzes, photo reports, and interviews from the countries of the Global South provide impetus for change in the North. The focus is on reports on future-relevant, global topics such as the fight against the climate crisis, justice, human rights, economic alternatives and more. Each printed edition contains a 12-page dossier on a burning topic. The Südwind magazine is published by the Südwind-Entwicklungspolitik Association in Vienna. The magazine sees itself as a service to the development scene; the editorial team is independent. An international network of freelance journalists who work for Südwind magazine show the effects of global developments on a local level in Latin America, Africa and Asia. The Südwind magazine appears every two months (6 times a year).
