Neue Zürcher Zeitung
The Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ), founded in 1780, is the most important quality newspaper in Switzerland and a leading medium in German-speaking countries. The daily newspaper stands for high quality, independent journalism and represents liberal perspectives. The newspaper owes its good reputation to its business section, the cultural pages, and the broad international reporting with a large network of correspondents. After a relaunch in August 2016, opinion articles are even more important. NZZ Österreich (NZZ.at for short) was a project by the Swiss NZZ media group that distributed magazine content about Austria online from 2015 to 2017. It was discontinued in April 2017.
