Jutta Sommerbauer

Editor Die Presse

Jutta Sommerbauer, born in Vienna in 1977, studied political science, media and intercultural communication in Vienna, Frankfurt/Oder and Sofia. A foreign policy editor of Austrian daily Die Presse, she has been following political and social developments in the countries of the former Soviet Union for ten years. In 2016 she published the reportage volume Die Ukraine im Krieg. Hinter den Frontlinien eines europäischen Konflikts. She has worked as a correspondent for Die Presse in Russia from 2017 to 2021.
