Reinhard Millner is cofounder and head of the Social Entrepreneurship Center at the Competence Center for Nonprofit Organisations and Social Entrepreneurship at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). He is currently a senior researcher and lecturer at WU Vienna and the WU Executive Academy, and he was a visiting lecturer at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Germany, and the Centre for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS) at the University of Basel, and a visiting scholar at the Stockholm School of Economics. In addition, he is academic director of the ERSTE Foundation NGO Academy.

As a jury member and project evaluator in several award schemes and programmes such as TRIGOS, the Social Impact Award, the TUN Award, the ERSTE Foundation Award for Social Integration and others, he has assessed, accompanied and advised nearly 1,200 projects and organisations over the past few years. His research and teaching focus on philanthropy and foundations, impact investing, social entrepreneurship, social impact measurement, organisational development and management.
