Octavian is a Romanian multimedia journalist based in Bucharest. Since 2010, he has been working as a freelancer, focusing on social issues and human interest stories. In 2017, he took part in the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence. His article on Romania’s failure to prevent a fatal measles outbreak won the third prize.
