The free youth magazine of the German Federal Agency for Civic Education has been available since December 2001 both as a print and as an online edition. The print edition appears quarterly, each with a specific topic, fluter.de also publishes a further journalistic article on social and political topics every day. As a non-commercial media platform, fluter wants to offer young people from 16 to 22 content from the fields of politics and culture. In each issue, a current, socio-political or country-specific topic is documented from different positions in an understandable and vivid way, often also using examples from the world of experiences of teenagers or young adults. The “fluter” magazine is intended to promote the target group’s basic understanding of democracy.
