Čierna labuť (Black Swan) is the online magazine of the non-profit organization Živica in Bratislava. Živica takes care of mainly educational projects. The portal’s topics are environment, education, society and spirituality. The magazine publishes articles, reports, interviews, and podcasts from these areas and broadcasts a regular environmental feature “Čierna labuť FM” every Monday at 3 pm on the Slovakian station Rádio FM. Regarding the content, the magazine writes: “The term black swan is a synonym for the fact that what seems impossible at first glance can happen. Black swans are unforeseen events, but they can have a huge impact. The Čierna labuť portal brings new perspectives, unknown topics and unusual opinions from independent authors in an independent medium.
