Olga Shparaga
Philosopher
Olga Shparaga is a philosopher and professor at the European College of Liberal Arts in Belarus (ECLAB). She studied philosophy in Belarus and Germany and taught at European Humanities University in Minsk and Vilnius in 2001-2014. 2006-2014 she was editor of the intellectual journal “Novaja Eŭropa” (“New Europe”). In 2014, the European College of Liberal Arts in Belarus (ECLAB) she founded in Minsk with colleagues. She is a member of the editorial boards of the Ideology and Politics Journal, The Interlocutor and pARTisan. She was a research fellow and professor at the universities and reseach centers in the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Germany and USA. She has published two monographs: Community-after-Holocaust: on the way to the inclusion society (Minsk: ECLAB books, 2018, in Russian) and Wake of Political Life: An Essay on the Philosophy of the Public Sphere (Vilnius: EHU, 2010, in Russian) and edited seven academic volumes.
