Verena Ringler runs European Commons, a European project boutique for multidiscplinary endeavours on politics and society. From 2013 to 2018, she has developed and shaped Stiftung Mercator’s Europe Cluster, which works together with politicians, young people and civil society stakeholders to foster European cohesion and boost Europe’s capacity to act. Ideas developed by Stiftung Mercator’s partners include a cross-border exchange programme for Members of Parliament and “Free Interrail”, which is currently piloted by the European Commission. Currently, Ringler is part of a high-level initiative for the EU’s future.
