Florian Rainer

Freelance photographer

Florian Rainer, born in Leoben in 1982, studied sociology and social economics in Vienna. He works as a portrait and reportage photographer for national and international magazines and also focuses on free artistic projects. His freelance work is known for its thoughtful application of photography and an often sociological view of people. In 2015 he published the volume Fluchtwege, which takes a conceptual approach to describing the migration movements in Austria in the autumn of 2015.
